14 - PRESENT CONTINUOUS

USE
We use the present continuous
- to talk about an action happening at the moment of speaking  (at the moment/now)
- a temporary action
- future programmed action


FORM

I am playing tennis now. / I'm not playing tennis now. / Are  you playing tennis  now?  Yes, I am. / No, I'm not.

You are playing tennis now. / You aren't playing tennis now. 

He/She is playing tennis now. / He/She isn't playing tennis now. / Is he/she playing tennis now?  Yes, he/she is.  /  No, he/she isn't.

We are playing tennis now. / We aren't playing tennis now.  /  Are you playing tennis now? Yes, we are. / No, we aren't.

They are playing tennis now. / They aren't playing tennis now.  / Are they playing tennis now? Yes, they are. / No, they aren't.

BE CAREFUL:  Spelling of gerund form
